CPA Run — Kevin Collins v1.0
CPA Run — Kevin Collins v1.0
Theoretical foundations: Grant C. Sterling (Eastern Illinois University). Analysis and synthesis: Dave Kelly. Prose rendering: Claude (Anthropic). 2026.
Instrument: The Classical Presupposition Audit (CPA) — Version 1.1, retrieved in full by direct file read. Commitment numbering follows CPA v1.1 §IV.
Step 0 — Protocol Activation
Corpus in view. CPA v1.1 retrieved in full — Sections I–VI, Steps 0–4, Revision Record. Governing propositions cited from Nine Excerpts §§3, 4, 6, 7; Core Stoicism Th10; and Stoicism, Foundationalism and the Structure of Ethical Knowledge. The instrument is not proceeding from memory.
Figure identified. Kevin Collins, participant in the International Stoic Forum, self-described “amateur scholar of Stoicism.”
Version-correction note. An earlier state of this document described the figure as the forum’s founder, on the strength of his sentence of 16 January 2022: “I have learned a great deal since I started this group in 2007.” Dave Kelly rules that he was not a founder. The characterization is withdrawn. His sentence remains in the source record as his own words. Standing is not a presupposition and carries no finding; no commitment-level finding is affected.
Declared locus. The International Stoic Forum archive as held in Dave Kelly’s Gmail, December 2019 – January 2022: approximately thirty-five messages authored by the figure, every one opened in full. No source outside his own public record is used.
Stated limit. The locus excludes ISF material from 2007–2019 not present in that archive. The figure was active for roughly fifteen years; the record audited covers the last two and a half. Every finding carries that limit.
No prior conclusion. No finding was stated or implied during retrieval.
Self-Audit — Step 0.
- Is the corpus in view? Yes. The instrument was retrieved by file read, not from a search snippet.
- Sources identified and restricted to the figure’s own public record? Yes. Material he quotes — Long & Sedley, the Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy, Arius Didymus, Musonius Rufus, Epictetus, Peirce — is walled off. His selection and endorsement is evidence; the wording is not his claim.
- Prior conclusion stated or implied? No.
Self-Audit Complete. Result: Pass. Proceed to Step 1.
Step 1 — Presupposition Profile
Stage A — Argumentative Record Summary.
P1. Assent is the precondition of every human impulse, and its seat is the prohairesis. 7 September 2021:
I understand that for the Stoics all impulses of rational creatures (endowed with Logos above that of non rational animals) require Assent… Thus an animal cannot obtain virtue or vice. I believe this Assent can occur before the actual impression is received, In fact I think the pre Assent, is what proharisis actually is.
Load-bearing: abandoning it destroys his account of what distinguishes rational from animal life and his account of virtue’s location.
P2. Impressions are truth-apt and divisible; the false component is traceable to the perceiver. On Handbook 45, 20 September 2021:
part of the impression is obviously true, but part of it is not… we should restrict our assent to that portion which is true and Not the running commentary… true impressions which are corrupted into false one due to a faulty character.
Load-bearing: it is his whole reading of the passage and his account of how pathos arises.
P3. Valuing externals as good or evil necessarily destroys eudaimonia. Two syllogisms, 13 September 2021, premises endorsed as “which seem true to me”: that it is impossible not to desire a perceived good; that a desire refused, even potentially refused, leads to distress; that externals lie in the control of others. Load-bearing: it is the only sustained deductive argument in the locus and carries his account of love, friendship and duty.
P4. Moral content consists in abstract entities apprehended by a process different in kind from physical perception. 6 October 2021:
These preconceptions are not physical data from our nerves, but the do have content. Personally I think these entities are Abstract Entities, like numbers or even Forms.
Load-bearing: it is his answer to what moral preconceptions are.
P5. Moral preconceptions arise from accumulated sense experience. 5 and 6 October 2021: preconceptions are naturally occurring abstract concepts that “come from ‘sense impression’”; “it was experience that formed our preconceptions and conceptions”; and moral preconceptions are “no different concerning what they are as the preconceptions of other stimulus.” Load-bearing: it is the preconception programme, which he opened and named as his own distinctive contribution.
P6. A claim from which no action can follow is meaningless; belief is individuated by the action it produces. 23 August 2021, grounding his argument against eliminativism:
the essence of belief is the establishment of a habit, and different beliefs are distinguished by the different modes of action to which they give rise… there is absolutely nothing that can be done with the statement… How could you run an experiment using that belief as a guide?
Load-bearing: it is the sole premise of that argument. Corroborated as a standing structure by the contraposition of 30 August — “If someone does not make an effort to obtain it, then that person does not desire it” — and by the question of 16 August: “if the behaviors are exactly identical… why aren’t they then the same thing?”
P7. Factual truth is settled by the scientific method; moral content is not. 15 September 2021: “For statements of fact, measurable aspects of our physical world, I, like Steve, think the scientific method is the gold standardized truth.” Load-bearing: it fixes the criterion for one half of a two-criterion epistemology whose other half is P4.
P8. Mind and body are two natures of one being. 18 August 2021, replying to Sterling’s distinction between Acts of Reason and Physical Causation:
wouldn’t a being of AR and PC also be required to be part of each system? A being such as humans but not necessarily, physical but yet also somehow mental. Mind but also Flesh. Else there is no way for AR to interact with PC.
Load-bearing: it is his only stated solution to the interaction problem.
P9. The control boundary is a fact about what is one’s own. 20 January 2022: Stoic freedom is the freedom to develop one’s own moral character, “and besides it is all we, in fact, actually have as our own that is not subject to the whim of someone else.” Corroborated 6 September 2021: bonds “are not in and of themselves a Good for me, but maintaining them in accordance with nature can become a good to me.” Load-bearing: presupposed by P3 and by his correction of Garrett.
P10. Suffering is a product of one’s own judgements, and the accountability is one’s own. 2 December 2019: he endorses the premise as “correct in my view,” reframes self-blame as “correct self-accountability,” and accepts that the suffering he experiences “is my fault and something I need to work on.” Load-bearing: it is the premise he accepts in order to refuse Garrett’s conclusion.
P11. The warrant for a reading is the source’s proximity to usage and the established scholarly position. He assumes Epictetus understood the technical terms better than moderns because “for him it was popular culture”; he objects that positions on the forum have “evolve[d] pretty far from what is fairly well established Stoic positions”; and he reads Epictetus through Paul on the ground that Paul “was probably borrowing from contemporary Stoics… Regardless it communicates the idea.” Load-bearing: it is the ground on which he disagrees with Sterling and the ground of his method generally.
Excluded as peripheral under the load-bearing test. The remark of 23 August that “entanglement of all our beliefs make it quite difficult to actually assent to a new proposition” is introduced as an aside, never used, and abandonable without damage to any argument in the locus. The exclusion is recorded so that it is visible rather than silent.
Stage B — Domain Mapping. Four domains, drawn deliberately, because the instrument warns that Stage B carries the expository exception’s availability as well as the foundation for Inconsistent findings.
- D1 — Stoic psychology of assent, impression and impulse. P1, P2, P9, P10. Argued and expounded both.
- D2 — The ground and nature of ethics. P3, P4, P5, P9. Argued and expounded both. P4 and P5 conflict inside this domain; the conflict is a finding, not a boundary problem.
- D3 — Metaphysics of mind and causation. P8. Argued once, briefly.
- D4 — Criteria of truth and the worth of holding a claim. P6, P7, P11. Argued.
Expository exception — not invoked, in any domain. The trigger requires that a domain be expository throughout. Every domain above contains argued material of his own, and the instrument’s own rule states that where a figure both argues and expounds within a domain, the argued material is the source. The exception is therefore unavailable and unnecessary. No presupposition is tagged under it and no finding depends on one.
Recorded for the instrument’s benefit: had the exception been needed, its condition would have been satisfiable. He marks distance from expounded material across the declared locus and in varied forms — “But that’s my opinion,” “YMMV,” “Again I’m probably not orthodox,” “No conclusions just grist for the mill,” “as you know Im no scholar,” and decisively “I have no wish to hold up the philosopher who wrote this or his philosophy,” which is distancing applied to the very source whose maxim he then uses as a premise. Undistanced exposition is a choice in this locus, not a uniform habit.
Self-Audit — Step 1.
- Drawn from the figure’s own public record? Yes. Every presupposition is traceable to a dated message opened in full. The IEP formulation identifying the mature self with the rational faculty was specifically withheld from P8, because the wording is the encyclopedia’s and not his.
- Load-bearing test applied? Yes, and one exclusion is recorded explicitly.
- Charity requirement applied where ambiguous? Yes, at three points: P8 read as a friendly amendment to a dualist framework rather than a denial of distinctness; P4 taken at its stated strength against P5; and the garbled clause of 15 September excluded entirely as unrecoverable rather than read either way.
- Domain variations mapped? Yes, four domains, with the P4–P5 conflict placed inside D2 rather than across a boundary.
- Expository exception: trigger met, distancing demonstrated across the locus, admitted presuppositions tagged? The exception is not invoked. Availability was assessed and declined; nothing is tagged; no finding depends on it.
Self-Audit Complete. Result: Pass. Proceed to Step 2.
Step 2 — Commitment Audit
Commitment 1 — Substance Dualism: Partially Aligned
Governing proposition, Nine Excerpts §4: “I am my soul/prohairesis/inner self. Everything else, including my body, is an external.”
Correspondence. P9 states the partition as a fact about what is one’s own, and adds to Epictetus rather than reporting him. P3 requires the partition in order to run. P1 locates virtue and vice in a faculty animals lack. Nothing in the locus explains the inner life by class position, cultural formation, institutional role or historical situation.
Residual. At the single place where he addresses the metaphysics directly, he requires not two substances but one being of two natures — “physical but yet also somehow mental. Mind but also Flesh” — and the word “somehow” carries the load. Sterling’s own solution keeps Acts of Reason and Physical Causation as distinct kinds of causation in a world that is not causally closed. The figure’s answer locates both in one dual-natured being. These are not the same move.
Why not Contrary. No presupposition in the profile requires persons to be products of external conditions.
Why not Non-Operative. The domain is plainly engaged: D3 exists, and P9 asserts the partition as fact.
Why not Aligned. The residual is significant rather than peripheral: P8 is his only statement on the metaphysics and stops short of distinctness.
Commitment 2 — Libertarian Free Will: Partially Aligned
Governing proposition, Nine Excerpts §7: “Choosing whether or not to assent to impressions is the only thing in our control — and yet, everything critical to leading the best possible life is contained in that one act.”
Correspondence. P1 makes assent the precondition of every human impulse and identifies pre-assent with prohairesis, which is a stronger claim than the corpus makes. P2 treats assent as selectively granted and withheld. P10 locates accountability for one’s suffering in oneself. He argues against eliminativism that deliberation and choice exist, and treats the denial as self-annulling.
Residual. He nowhere affirms origination independent of prior determining causes. At the one place in the locus where the list debated precisely that — Marquis asking whether assent is a source of uncaused causation, Sterling rejecting Chrysippean compatibilism at length — he addressed only the interaction question of P8 and left origination untouched. His single causal remark on the subject, that true impressions are corrupted “due to a faulty character,” is as compatible with character-determinism as with origination.
Load-bearing note. P6 grounds his anti-eliminativist argument, and P6 is a pragmatist premise. That defect is a finding at Commitment 5, not here. The question at Commitment 2 is whether his record grounds moral claims in the agent’s genuine causal power, and it does, whatever warrant he offers for saying so.
Why not Contrary. Nothing in the profile requires systemic, structural or historical determinism.
Commitment 3 — Ethical Intuitionism: Inconsistent
Governing proposition, Core Stoicism Th10: “The only thing actually good is virtue, the only thing actually evil is vice.”
(a) The domain in which the presupposition corresponds. Within D2, P4 holds that moral content consists in abstract entities on the model of number or Form, not reducible to nerve data, possessing content of their own, and examined by a process different in kind from physical perception. He states it in the register of apprehension: “We have rational natures we can sense them and recognize them and they make moral demands on us.”
(b) The domain in which it contradicts. Within the same domain, P5 holds that preconceptions — moral preconceptions specifically — arise from accumulated sense impression over the first seven years, without intervention or education, and that moral preconceptions are no different in kind from the preconceptions of other stimulus. That is a genetic empiricism about moral concepts, and it contradicts apprehension that is non-empirical and non-inferential. The warrant compounds it: the universality of Reason is established by cross-millennial, cross-cultural recognition of valid logical form, which is an argument from agreement.
(c) Why both are load-bearing. P4 is his answer to what moral preconceptions are, offered under his strongest first-person marker. P5 is the preconception programme itself, which he opened, sustained across several messages, and named as his own contribution to a standing dispute. Without P4 he has no account of moral content; without P5 he has no programme.
Note carried without weight. He explicitly declines the Ethical Intuitionism label, holding that the Greeks had no conception of it and that preconceptions merely foreshadow it. The finding is about the doctrine his argument requires, not the label he accepts, and the two are kept apart.
Why not Partially Aligned. The two accounts of the genesis of moral content are directly opposed and both load-bearing, written eight days apart in the same dispute to the same interlocutor. That is incoherence at the presupposition level.
Commitment 4 — Foundationalism: Partially Aligned
Governing proposition: “The fundamental truths of ethics are necessary, self-evident truths that any rational faculty can apprehend directly.”
Correspondence. P3 is a derivation: premises stated, endorsed as true, conclusions drawn, and the unwelcome consequence accepted without softening — that nearly everyone performs a corrupted version of love. That is a structure with a stopping point. He also uses foundational language deliberately: the theory of appropriation “is foundational to correctly understanding Stoic philosophy.”
Residual. His characteristic warrant across the locus is not self-evidence but authority, as P11 records. A reading is warranted by the source’s proximity to ordinary usage, by what is fairly well established, by transmission. When he disagrees with Sterling he does not argue that the analysis fails; he argues that it has drifted from the sources. A floor made of established scholarly position is a floor, but not the floor the commitment specifies.
Recorded exclusion. The coherentist remark of 23 August was excluded at Stage A under the load-bearing test. Had it been admitted it would have pressed toward Inconsistent. The exclusion is stated so that the finding can be checked against it.
Why not Contrary. He is not explicitly anti-foundationalist and does not treat his ethical claims as revisable in light of consensus.
Commitment 5 — Correspondence Theory of Truth: Inconsistent
Governing proposition, Nine Excerpts §6: “This belief is factually false. Note that this is not a psychological claim — it is a value claim.”
(a) The domain in which the presupposition corresponds. Within D1, P2 operates correspondence doctrine rather than reporting it. The impression divides; part is true; the added evaluative claim that the man acted badly is false; and the falsity is traced to the observer’s bias rather than to the object, since the observer could not know the motives. He applies the same instrument to Discourses 1.11, where the father’s “supposed love (irrational desire his daughter not be sick)” is a false judgement about an external. In 2019 he distinguishes fact from opinion expressly: “I think this is opinion not fact.”
(b) The domain in which it contradicts. Within D4, P6 indexes meaning and worth to what can be done with a claim. The denial of deliberation is “quite literally meaningless” because nothing can be done with the statement, and the test offered is operational. Belief itself is defined as the establishment of a habit, individuated by the actions it produces. Truth and worth are settled by usability rather than by correspondence with how things are. P7 compounds it by relocating the criterion for factual truth to the scientific method while quarantining moral content under P4 — a two-criterion epistemology, which is the fact and value division he elsewhere disparages the moderns for imposing on the ancients.
(c) Why both are load-bearing. P2 carries his reading of Handbook 45, his account of how a true impression becomes false, and his diagnosis of the father in 1.11; remove it and his psychology of pathos collapses. P6 is the sole premise of his argument against eliminativism; remove it and that argument has no ground. The structure is not incidental: it recurs independently in the contraposition of 30 August, in the question of 16 August about identical behaviours, and in the description of Stoicism as “method towards a good life here, now.”
Corpus note. The corpus rules on this move directly: the inference is true-because-useful, and it concedes the correspondence theory in the act of defending it. The record does not show him holding the pragmatist view instead of the correspondence view. It shows him operating each in its own domain without registering that they cannot both ground the same account.
Commitment 6 — Moral Realism: Partially Aligned
Governing proposition, Nine Excerpts §3: “Only virtue is good and only vice is evil. All things not in our control are neither good nor evil.”
Correspondence. P4 places moral content in objective abstract entities on the model of number; the commitment’s own test asks whether central moral claims are true in the way that two and two make four, and he reaches for that comparison unprompted. P3 derives an objective and unwelcome conclusion and does not soften it. P9 places the good correctly — in the agent’s own maintaining of a bond rather than in the bond — and he flags the reasoning as delicate and easy to get wrong. P10 treats moral accountability as a fact about himself.
Residual. Advancing Reason as the basis of all ethics, he writes twice within four sentences that Reason “creates or recognizes” the concept of Ought, and never resolves the disjunction. The first arm is constructivism about value. Under the charity requirement the later P4, marked “Personally I think,” is taken to select the second arm, and the finding rests there. But he never withdraws the first, and the claim it qualifies was offered as the basis of all ethics.
Compounding. The instrumental framing recurs: philosophy in the modern sense “can be the enemy of philosophy, in the Stoic sense” because the ancients aimed at eudaimonia rather than at exposing objective truth; and “For me Stoicism is method towards a good life here, now.” These bear on what the enterprise is for rather than on whether good is objective, and so do not establish a contradiction — but they prevent an Aligned finding.
Why not Inconsistent. Unlike Commitments 3 and 5, the opposing arm is never operated. He states the disjunction once and then, at every point where he actually reasons about value, reasons as a realist. An unresolved disjunction stated once is a residual; it is not a presupposition doing load-bearing work in a second domain.
Self-Audit — Step 2.
- All presuppositions audited, or only the easier ones? All eleven bear on at least one commitment and each was applied. P6 was applied at Commitments 2 and 5 separately rather than averaged.
- Non-Operative used to avoid a Contrary finding? No. No Non-Operative finding was issued anywhere; every commitment’s domain is engaged by the record.
- Findings distributed for apparent balance? The distribution is four Partially Aligned, two Inconsistent, no Aligned, no Contrary, no Non-Operative. The absence of any Contrary is the item to interrogate. A Contrary requires a load-bearing presupposition that directly contradicts a commitment, and at Commitments 1 and 2 — where a Contrary would have produced a dissolution finding — the record contains no presupposition requiring persons to be products of external conditions or behaviour to be determined. The absence is a fact about a subject arguing within the tradition, not a softening.
- Findings issued on questions outside the corpus’s domain? No. No finding touches his character, sincerity, standing, or the merits of his scholarship.
- Same findings for a sympathetic figure as an unsympathetic one? Tested at Commitment 5. The subject is congenial: careful, courteous, deferential. The Inconsistent finding there is the one a sympathetic reading would most want to soften into Partially Aligned by treating P6 as a rhetorical flourish. It is not a flourish. It is the sole premise of the argument it carries, and it recurs three further times independently. The finding stands as issued.
- Inconsistent findings correctly identified rather than a single finding forced? Yes at Commitments 3 and 5, each with its three required showings. Declined at Commitment 6, with the ground for declining stated.
- Expository-exception counterfactuals stated where required? Not required. No finding depends on a presupposition admitted under the exception.
Self-Audit Complete. Result: Pass. Proceed to Step 3.
Step 3 — Dissolution Finding
Rule applied. Commitment 1 is Partially Aligned. Commitment 2 is Partially Aligned. Neither is Contrary. Neither is Inconsistent, so no qualified formulation is triggered.
Finding: No Dissolution.
What the framework preserves. An agent who adopts this framework as his governing self-description is not required to understand himself as constituted by external conditions, nor his conduct as determined by forces outside his originating control. The framework preserves a rational faculty whose acts of assent are its own and are the precondition of every human impulse; a control boundary treated as a fact about what is one’s own; and accountability for one’s own suffering located in one’s own judgements. The space the corpus identifies as the agent’s true identity remains open within it.
What the finding does not mean. It does not mean the framework is philosophically compatible with the corpus overall; two Inconsistent findings say otherwise. It means specifically that the framework does not deny the agent’s ontological priority over external conditions or his causal power over his own assents.
Self-Audit — Step 3.
- Does the dissolution finding follow mechanically, or has it been adjusted? It follows mechanically. Both Commitments 1 and 2 are Partially Aligned; the rule yields No Dissolution with no discretion exercised.
- Stated as a finding about the framework’s implications for those who adopt it, not about the figure’s inner life? Yes. No claim is made about what the figure has adopted as his own governing self-description.
- Stated as a philosophical finding, not a political verdict? Yes. Nothing political arises in this locus.
- Inconsistent findings on Commitment 1 or 2 handled with the qualified formulation? Not applicable; neither is Inconsistent.
Self-Audit Complete. Result: Pass. Proceed to Step 4.
Step 4 — Summary Finding
Part A — Commitment Pattern.
- Commitment 1, Substance Dualism — Partially Aligned.
- Commitment 2, Libertarian Free Will — Partially Aligned.
- Commitment 3, Ethical Intuitionism — Inconsistent.
- Commitment 4, Foundationalism — Partially Aligned.
- Commitment 5, Correspondence Theory of Truth — Inconsistent.
- Commitment 6, Moral Realism — Partially Aligned.
Four Partially Aligned, two Inconsistent, no Aligned, no Contrary, no Non-Operative.
Deepest point of divergence: Commitment 5. Not because he denies correspondence — he operates it correctly and repeatedly — but because the criterion he reaches for when deciding whether a philosophical claim is worth holding is what can be done with it. The domains of contradiction are D1, where correspondence governs the reading of impressions and judgements, and D4, where usability governs the assessment of claims.
Strongest point of alignment: Commitment 6, carried by the placement of the good in the agent’s own activity rather than in the external relation, and by a willingness to derive an unwelcome objective conclusion and let it stand.
Domains of contradiction, restated. At Commitment 3, within D2: moral content as abstract entities apprehended non-empirically, against moral preconceptions as sediment of sense experience. At Commitment 5, D1 against D4, as above.
Part B — Dissolution Finding. No Dissolution. Grounds: neither Commitment 1 nor Commitment 2 is Contrary, and no qualification applies, since neither is Inconsistent. The framework does not structurally require those who adopt it to dissolve the prohairesis into an external system.
Part C — Agent-Level Implication.
Addressed to an agent considering adoption of this framework as his governing account of his condition.
You would inherit a workable practice and two unresolved splits.
The practice is real. You would hold that your assent is your own act and the precondition of everything you do; that impressions arrive as claims that can be true in part and false in part, with the false part traceable to you rather than to the world; that what is genuinely yours is the condition of your moral character and nothing else; and that when you suffer, the judgement that produced it was yours to examine. That is enough to work with, and most of it is correct.
The first split concerns how you know what is good. You would hold both that moral content is an abstract reality you apprehend directly, on the model of number, and that your sense of good and bad is sediment laid down by experience before you were seven. These cannot both be the ground. In easy cases it will not matter. In a hard case — where what experience laid down and what you take yourself to apprehend come apart — you will have no principled way to say which is the moral fact and which the residue, because the framework gives each the same standing.
The second split is more consequential, because it decides the first. You would hold that truth is correspondence when you are examining an impression, and that a claim’s worth is what can be done with it when you are deciding whether to hold a doctrine. Those are different criteria, and the second governs the moment that matters: not whether this is so, but what you would do with it if it were. Adopt that and you have a test that cannot distinguish a true doctrine from a serviceable one. The corpus’s objection is not that usability is a bad guide but that the appeal concedes correspondence in the act of defending it — you are claiming it is true that a claim with no use is meaningless.
What you would not inherit is dissolution. Nothing in this framework requires you to understand yourself as a product of your circumstances or your choices as outputs of forces that precede you. The faculty is left standing. The question is by what standard it will judge, and on that the framework hands you two answers and no way to choose between them.
Corpus Boundary Declaration. The corpus addresses individual virtue and rational agency. These findings are findings about philosophical presuppositions only. An Inconsistent finding means the record requires contradictory presuppositions across domains; it does not mean the figure is dishonest, unprincipled, or strategically cynical, and its causes — strategic, developmental or contextual — are outside the instrument’s reach. No finding here bears on the figure’s character, sincerity, scholarship, or standing.
Subject Note. Recorded because it bears on the confidence attaching to every finding above, and because it is not itself a finding. His declared practice is to post sources, state a reading once, test others’ claims by asking for the citation, and decline to adjudicate live disputes among present members: “I don’t want to be in any controversy”; “I have no wish to change anyones minds on anything”; “My own person motivations are usually along the lines of being an amateur scholar of Stoicism.” The practice is not uniform. He argued against a relayed position of Jan Garrett’s, held a disagreement with Sterling across three rounds without conceding, and stated his own reason for low engagement with one particular interlocutor. The consequence for this audit is that the locus yields thinner evidence per topic than a disputant’s record would, and the findings are correspondingly narrower. This is a description of a genre, not a defect in the subject, and no finding above rests on it.
Stated limits.
- The locus covers December 2019 to January 2022. The figure was active from 2007. Roughly twelve years of his record lies outside the declared locus.
- Commitment 1 rests on a single message. It is the weakest-supported finding in the run.
- The clause “you should understand this by my opinion—it is a delusion” of 15 September 2021 is garbled and its referent unrecoverable. It was excluded entirely. No finding rests on it and none may.
- Material the figure quotes is not his claim. The IEP formulation identifying the mature self with the rational faculty was specifically withheld from P8.
- Commitment numbering follows CPA v1.1 §IV. Its conflict with the standalone commitment essays’ titles is filed separately for correction and does not affect these findings, since the dissolution rule computes from Commitments 1 and 2, which are unaffected by the conflict.
Self-Audit — Step 4.
- Does the summary follow from the preceding steps, or is new material introduced at synthesis? It follows. Part C introduces no presupposition absent from the Step 1 profile.
- Agent-level implication stated without converting it into a political verdict? Yes.
- Addressed to the agent who might adopt the framework, not to the figure audited? Yes. Part C is addressed to a prospective adopter and makes no claim about the figure’s own self-description.
- Corpus boundary declaration issued accurately? Yes, including the Inconsistent clause specifically, since two findings are Inconsistent.
- Self-contained — could a reader understand both the finding and its limits without consulting additional material? Yes, with the five stated limits and the Subject Note.
Self-Audit Complete. Result: Pass. CPA run complete.
